The Last Significant Science Stop of the Week: The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center

On the West Coast, in San Diego, California, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center is the first of its kind to feature an OMNIMAX theater (also know as an IMAX dome).

What is an OMNIMAX theater? As you can see from the picture above, it is a combination of a planetarium and IMAX dome.

Other museums now have OMNIMAXs, but the Reuben H. Fleet speaks for itself. It is the best-attended museum in the city and a Top 10 attraction in San Diego.
